Student Exchange
Student Exchange Program
At CPS our Exchange Programs give our students an opportunity to broaden their horizons and appreciate different cultural perspectives. We give our students the opportunity to study, flourish, and work in different global contexts helping them develop into future leaders and citizens who recognize the significance of cooperation, understanding, and compassion.
At the time of the inception of CPS, our founder and Chairman felt the need to create an educational institution that is truly ‘international’ in all aspects, an institution that would fulfil the needs of just the students of the locality, but also those residing outside the State and the Country. As an initiative, he has made a tie-up with the American Field Service (AFS) and through AFS, our founder encouraged the Student Exchange Program through which, the students from CPS are given an arena of going abroad as part of the exchange program and students from other countries visit CPS and complete one academic year in CPS. The school believes that the positive aspects of Indian culture, tradition, and values must be imbibed in all our children in their formative years and the children should be given an opportunity to learn the values, traditions, and cultures of other countries.
The school receives students and teachers from several parts of the world including the U.S., Thailand, the Middle East, Japan, Russia, Spain, etc. This diversity amongst students helps them be aware of different countries, and their cultures and inculcates in them a spirit of brotherhood and unity in diversity. School students benefit immensely from the multi-cultural, multi-racial student body, which contributes immensely to the learning experience at the Chettinadu Public School.
