International Dimension in Schools Awards
Celebrating the School’s effort to include international work as part of its Curriculum and embed it within the school’s culture, the British Council has awarded Chettinad Public School the International Dimension in Schools Award for the period 2022 to 2025. International Dimension in Schools certifies schools that have shown a commitment to embedding international awareness and global citizenship within their class and school.
Wisdom Award 2022
Chettinadu Public School is acclaimed with the award ‘Best CBSE School in Sivagangai District’ by Vikatan in the Wisdom Awards 2022, an occasion devoted to recognizing the best schools in Southern Tamil Nadu. The award ceremony was consecrated by Mr.Appavu, the Honourable Speaker of, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Our Vice Chairman Shri K. Arun Kumar was felicitated by Mr. Appavu, the Honurable Speaker, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
Empowered Girl: Recognition in The Concatenation of Women Achievers
‘The Concatenation of Women Achievers’ instituted by the Vikatan Group on the occasion of it’s Silver Jubilee celebration, honoured the women who have outshone in sundry arenas across Tamil Nadu. Poojitha, who has made achievements in declamation and speechcraft since her childhood, has perorated on more than 600 stages and visited many colleges as a special guest, was ennobled with the Little Champion Award. Poojita has been chosen as one of the 19 renowned and eminent women in Tamil Nadu to receive the honour.
A Tribute from the TN Governor: Certificate of Excellence
Master. Kawin Inbathamizh J S of Grade VIII has brought glories of accolades by having won a State Level English Essay Competition, on Mahakavi Bharathiyar held as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration in January 2022. He has been awarded the CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE and a cash prize of INR 1 Lakh by our State Governor His Excellency R.N.Ravi in a function (Unveiling the Statue of Mahakavi Bharathiyar) organized in Raj Bhavan, Chennai. Kawin had also won the second prize in an essay competition titled “Sri Aurobindo and Auroville: Reigniting India’s Greatness” organized by the Ministry of Culture. Government of India and accoladed by the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu, His Excellency R. N. Ravi.
