NCC

National Cadet Corps of Chettinadu Public School belong to the 3 (TN) AIR SQN (TECH) NCC unit, Trichy Group. NCC is an integral part of curriculum at the school in its existence since June 26, 2014. The slot of 50 cadets are being enrolled to take the complete training under NCC every year. The school has constructed a complete training range which includes firing range, obstacles training and wall mounting to take the complete training during the camps. Performance of cadets of CPS in Camps and drills has always been outstanding. The NCC Cadets of CPS has always been at the top in completing their course with A’ grade in their A Certificate examinations

NCC develops the cadets to be united and disciplined as its motto is UNITY AND DISCIPLINE. NCC also develops the overall personality of a cadet in taking care of them physically and mentally. The regular parades with the full uniform motivate them to feel proud in being a part of the defence. The various camps conducted by the NCC like the annual Training camp, Republic day camp etc., develop the cadets to accept everyone as brothers and sisters with their differences. The cadets periodically conduct various social service programs like rally, cycle expedition on social issues encouraging them to relate themselves with society. A training area is arranged in Balaji Graden, the school estate located in Kallal village to train our NCC cadets to take part in any type of camps that are being organized by the NCC.
