Mode of Assessment

The performance of a student is assessed on the basis of tests conducted and the day-to-day performance throughout the year.
Two formative Assessments ( FA-I and FA-2) and one Summative Assessment (SA-1) are conducted in the months of June, August, and September respectively and two formative Assessments (FA-3and FA-4) and one summative Assessment (SA-2) are Conducted in the month of Nov., Jan . March respectively.
Formative Assessments cover a wide range of various Tests/skills/Activities of the student viz —unit tests assignments, projects, lab activities, Debates, quizzes, declamation, seminars, class work, role play, etc. Throughout the year. Anecdotal records of students' activities, behavior, regularity, class response, etc. are kept. Numerical marks will be converted into Grades.
Parents are kept regularly in the information, informed of their wards' academic progress through Achievement Records/Test Copies/Assignments, etc.
Promotion is based on the overall average performance of the year.
A student must obtain at least a `D’ Grade in each compulsory subject to qualify for the next class.
